I have always loved art and creating things. I grew up in an artistic household where my father painted watercolours in his studio, and as children we were encouraged to be creative.
I trained as a teacher, married and raised a family. It was only when our children left home as young adults I found the time to devote to my art.
I took art classes with Robyn Barnet who encouraged me to paint and arranged my first exhibition with a friend. I continue to strive towards developing my skills and the study of art techniques and artists.
My inspiration comes from being in nature where I find refreshment and healing. I love being in the natural world where the light, cloud formations, and patterns are ever changing and provide an endless source of ideas.
