Alpha Lution was inspired by my favourite bodybuilder of all time Kai Greene. Kai already owns one of my earlier stencil pieces I painted in 2015 and this is the second tribute.

It symbolises growth, prosperity and continued learning and development for all ages of life.

The evolution of our bodies through time has always fascinated me. Through natural strength and resistance in the caveman era, we as humans have found a way through modern times to adapt our training and lifestyle. By honing this technique over decades, the development and growth of the human body evolved until it is displayed again like it was once designed.

Featuring a wall of vivid abstract colour, earthy tones of ochre, sand and flesh form the perfect backdrop for any room! Easily appealing to the the contemporary art collector, bodybuilding fan, gym lover or just someone who appreciates such a contrast in styles.

From brush strokes to spray paint, this mixed media piece also boasts a meticulously hand cut and sprayed silhouette series inspired by the iconic evolution chart from ape to man. An intricate 2 layer stencil was used and destroyed upon completion, never to be reproduced.

The black against the rural colours makes each individual silhouette pop, almost walking off the canvas. At a closer look, each figure image is slightly different in character, the work and time put into this painting is really appreciated.
