Wall Street Bully is a bold, classic street art meets modern contemporary painting.
The artist’s signature which is usually less prominently on all works of art forms the background for this strong and powerful diptych piece.
The iconic Wall St Bull is the feature and my time living and breathing NYC over 6 years inspired the creation of Wall St Bully. Symbolising opportunity, prosperity and financial freedom, the statue that sits in the trading sector of the city is a hit with modern day tourists.
Stylistically, the graffiti signature overlap lays a perfect foundation for the abstract raging bull silhouette. The head and horns are cleverly hidden, provoking different views and taking a closer order of recognition.
Different shades of vibrant blues and pinks with neutral colours of blacks, whites and greys are weaved in to the picture. Simple but effective, the 2 layer hand cut stencil of the Bull and the famous Wall St street sign are sprayed and highlighted.
Wall St Bully measures a over whopping 1.8m in total length. Two canvases of 36”x 36” (92cm x 92cm) form the artwork which is ready to hang. Currently stretched on a deep pine frame and ready to be the statement piece in your home!
