In the Spring of 2014 this beauty popped up in our garden. I thought it might be bell flowers, yet had no confirmation of this. Nevertheless I found them to be delightful, dainty, and playful amongst the greenery in the garden so decided to paint it. Later, during an exhibition, a cunning gardener let me know that it was actually onion weed, which can be quite a nuisance in the garden. I still appreciate its beauty despite its behaviour.
