Part of an ongoing series exploring the rhythms and colours of the desert, inspired by travels in the NT and the Pilbara. These abstract works are gestural and free, and involve layering light washes of colour on the canvas then using a variety of tools to add drawing elements. This work is brightly coloured in tones suggestive of afternoon sun over the landscape.
Painted on the sides so will not require framing
Finished with several coats of varnish for surface protection and easy cleaning
Signed on the back with a certificate of authenticity
