A small burst of colour in a series exploring the rhythms, colours and forms of country in the north and far north west of Australia. The process of making these paintings involves broad gestures with very dilute paint to begin with. As more layers of paint are applied there's a gradual discovery of what's happened on the surface to create the composition, finally detailing with drawing elements.
Painted on the sides so will not require framing
Finished with two coats of varnish for surface protection
Signed on the back with a certificate of authenticity
