I found this river so peaceful and the misty, morning light very beautiful. There is a sense of endurance in the tree despite the persistence of the river flowing past. I used panpastels to paint this scene . The the surface is velvety soft as the chalks are so fine they lend themselves to many layers of blending, providing a richness of colour.
Mounted on archival, acid free card, ready for framing.
