Promise is part of a small series of paintings exploring the colours of the far northwest, inspired by the Pilbara region of WA. I'm enjoying exploring fluid acrylics as a compositional element and pushing the colours of the desert to create luminous earthy tones. I wanted to express a sense of all of us being travellers through an ancient land.

Painted on all sides so will not require framing.
