On an overcast day, we journeyed to the Wallaman falls lookout. Despite having driven all the way we couldn’t see a thing, but clouds. So we decided to venture further, hiking along slippery treacherous paths for an hour, As we drew closer we were refreshed by a light shower and the cadence of the falls became louder. The summit was surrounded by clouds creating an ethereal atmosphere. I was enthralled to see the country’s tallest single-drop waterfall. That moment standing beside the pool at the bottom of the waterfall surrounded by sheer rock wall was unforgettable.
