Jane has painted some of her Gradmother's country along the Canning Stock Route called Pangkapiti. Here she has painted women collecting mangarri (bush tucker) for special smoking ceremony. The women collect seeds for grinding to make damper, Kampupatja (tomato) which is put on sticks to dry in the sun. Surrounding the women is tali (sand hills) which dominate the country.
