portrait of Erin, an acquaintance taken from a series of sketches undertaken in 2000. Happy days of the clean-cut Fonzarelli variety. Full of colour. Full of this, chasing that. Then we get older and the world loses that colour day by day until like it or not, fight it or not, we wake up one day and see through our eyes a grayscale world with a broken contrast knob. And all that is left are those full-colour Kodak prints in our brain, and how we long for those hue-filled days again, knowing like a madman they’re gone and not coming back. But oh how those colours burn bright.
