Artwork Description

Acrylic on paper

Signed on the back.

An imaginary hop, skip, jump, climb and scramble through the boulder-field of the steep Lost World Track high on kunanyi/Mt Wellington, Hobart, TAS.

On this steep, unformed track the walker follows a series of hand-painted track-markers of red and yellow concentric circles, that have been daubed directly onto the boulders. Now fading back into the rock surface they can be hard to spot as they blend in with the lichens that also colonise the boulders.
