Trying something completely different. I'm proudly self-taught so I try and experiment as much as possible with techniques‚ styles and mediums. I spare no expense on random materials as I know that i will use them somehow one day! The figure in this piece is made from japan black varnish dripped from a height and charcoal. The background is fluid acrylic paint dispersed with drops of 100% alcohol. The mixture of water and enamel based products with an aerosol lacquer created super interesting geometric splitting which I encouraged. It is super reflective‚ catching the changing light in a room and producing a very dynamic piece of art!
