I approached this bull with no preconceived intent on how I would paint or draw it. No reference image was used but simply an idea of brightness and fluidity, and this was the resulting outcome. The movement in the bull is enhanced by the distorted arched perspective and the way I rapidly applied the paint and enamel dripped edging. The white background enhances the bull bringing it off the canvas into the room. I played with spray paints in this piece and I am happy with what it added to the movement.
