"These paintings are representative of my work this year; expressive, colourful and inspired by our diverse Australian landscape. These layered paintings were created over weeks and sometimes months, experimenting with different colours, textures and marks. On painting days I'm dreaming of far away places, majestic gorges, arid expanses, undersea wonderlands and foliage you can get lost in. All those magical places 'Out There'. "
