A larger painting featuring big flouncy camellias from our cold climate garden. The vintage touch in this painting is the blue and white patterned background which was inspired by the lining of an antique violin case. I particularly loved the play of shadow and light in this composition so tried to capture this in the background in particular as well as the reflections on the glossy jug.
