Artwork Description

When I go exploring in the forest I love to look for mushrooms and I get very excited when I find them. My favourite ones are bright red but I also enjoy finding clusters amongst the leaves. Inspired by my memories I painted this scene of various types of mushrooms in the style of a poster. It is part of a series of illustrations that I am creating which explore subjects and memories that I am fond of.

This artwork is titled “As The Mist Descends”This is an original watercolour painting on Arches 300gsm paper. I have painted it with a Winsor and Newton watercolour palette. It measures A3 in size which is 30cm x 42cm (11.8" x 16.5"). It is signed and dated.
