This flowering gum came from a bunch of flowers given to me, which I couldn't throw out, even after they were dead, because in all states of life and death they still were so vibrant and stunning to me. This particular work was a favourite at an exhibition with a painter friend of mine, called Nature's Abstract and the series it comes from is called Raving Beauty.
