Poppies are one of my favourite flowers to paint. I like to give my art a modern feel, with slightly abstract accents. This particular painting has the dark background, gradually lightening towards the top, which signifies the light coming out of the darkness. This art is inspired by the men and women who fought for our country and freedom. It measures 91x46x4cms.
