Inspiration for this artwork began with a stem of Banksia kindly gifted from a friend, its glorious flower and textured angled leaves needed something different than my usually darker colour palette. With its off white textured background being uncluttered, it enables full focus on this native beauty.
What a refreshing piece to paint, not only stunning but successfully exudes a sense of serenity and calm.
