WOLLONGONG HARBOUR LIGHTHOUSE

60.5 CM HEIGHT X 80 CM WIDTH X 1.5CM

Wollongong Harbour Lighthouse is a piece that was entered and displayed into Wollongong Art Galleries 'Locals on Board '2018/2019 . The exhibition was created for artists from the Northern Illawarra to come together and exhibit a piece on ply board . I chose to create a piece based on Wollongong Lighthouse and the stormy seas capturing the big waves colliding against the rocky ledge while the Lighthouse Guards and the sea gulls fledge .

Acrylic on 1.5cm ply board finished with a double layer of gloss varnish . It has been fitted with d rings on the back and wire for hanging . Signed both back and front . Includes a bluethumb certificate of authenticity.
