This work is one of a few originals produced in preparation for my collaboration with muralist MsSaffaa in late 2019. MsSaffaa turns images into large prints for her paste-up murals, working from monochrome drawings or sketches. We developed a mural about women's strength for my 'Painting Flowers' exhibition which opened on 14 December 2019 at the Peacock Gallery in Auburn. Not all of the drawings produced during the early stages of our project were used in the final mural. These drawings were spontaneous and designed to look back at the audience, confronting and challenging the the viewer.
