Green Joy is a painting that flows over all sides, has an organic look and contains shades and dilutions of turquoise, teal, emerald, lime, blue/ green and white. Pattern formations appear in pleasing shapes. Completed with a silky gloss protective finish.
Some say the colour green is symbolic of the new, life.. beginnings, growth etc. Although none of that was in my thoughts as I worked.
As this one was near complete I noticed for reasons I can't fully explain an amazing sense of joy every time I looked at it; so Joy it was named.
