Every year silly folk swim from Cottesloe W.A. to Rottnest Island. Approx 22 Km. Why, you would have to ask them. I us a boat. So a fun painting, I get so much inspiration from the Indian Ocean, surfing and sailing in her clear waters.
Most of the background sea is in Acrylics, But to get some of the blends in the people I use oil to get the colours I like.This has been painted on sealed board and has a Saturn finish. Also it has a Tasmanian oak frame.
