Oil on canvas
Signed on the front.
Inspiration for this painting came of a bunch of red eucalyptus leaves, my oldest daughter brought at home. Initially, the plan was to make a composition for a much bigger canvas. However, the leaves, due to condensation, were releasing so much red juice that all props and fabrics got stained. It looked a bit like a crime scene π Trying to make an interesting arrangement was very messy and I kept reducing the size of the canvas, so I ended up with a smaller work. After all, trying to tame the leaves was a good idea and the red monochromatic palette worked really well!
