Rain Dance is inspired by our Wiradjuri dancers who would call upon Biami (Our creator, our sky) to bring rain down onto us.

They dance to connect the sky with our mother earth, creating a passageway for Biami to pour waters onto the lands.

This painting shows the ripples and movement of the water and drops and the meeting places of our people as they come together to ask our ancestors to bless our lands with rain.
