Artwork Description

Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Rainforest dreaming is inspired by our "Rainforest people".

Many moons ago, before colonisation, our Rainforest people used to live within the forest in Gunyahs, They have a rich knowledge of the fauna and cycles of the land. Their wisdom for bush tucker was so advanced that they knew exactly how to consume poisonous plants to gain nutrition, such as carbs & protein. Our beautiful Rainforest people have been guardians of that land for millennia, this painting is in celebration of their connection & kindred knowledge of our forests.
