Canberra based artist Angela Parragi's work is based in realism, with particular focus in portraiture, as well as still life’s. She is interested in the materiality and effects of paint, and capturing what she sees before her. She has studied at ANU with Bachelor of Visual Arts (hons.), The Julian Ashton Art School and the Florence School Academy. Angela has exhibited in Canberra and been in many artprizes such as The Waterhouse National Science Prize and the The Black Swan Portraiture Prize.
