"Immerse" emulates the feeling of diving below the surface of the water, the moment you open your eyes and see the bubbles and blur of colour. This piece gives the viewer a sense of depth and mystery of the what is underneath. It is refreshing, cleansing, invigorating.

Influenced by my days spent at Rottnest Island, off Perth, and Green Head on the Mid West coast of WA. These are days spent on dinghies visiting isolated little bays, mooring in little pools of crystal clear torquoise waters and diving straight into the crisp water. That feeling of being immersed and taking in the colours, textures, emotion of the ocean is what inspires me to create pieces like this one.

It is a large, striking piece, being 1.2m in height. The colours and theme would suit any environment.
