Another still life inspired by my visits to my friends cattle station in the North of WA. With her thoughtful little vignettes everywhere to add to the atmosphere of the stunning old homestead you cant help but be inspired.
Cooking for staff and visitors is a huge part of the day so we are constantly surrounded by jugs, bowls and other kitchen utensils covering the huge concrete bench. This particular piece reminds me of those days.
I love the pop of green against the terracotta colour of the inside of the bowl and the neutral background.
