Anne has been painting at the Ikuntji Womens and Art Centre since 1999. She is the daughter-in-law of Alice Nampitjinpa, an important Pintupi artist. Anne divides her time between Alice Springs, where her husband teaches at Yirrarra College and Haasts Bluff. At the centre she sits and learns skills from her mother- in -law and the other senior women. Anne paints the tjukurrpa from her own country at Watarru, far south of Haasts Bluff. Her stories are usually of Fire dreaming and relate dancing and singing ceremonies. Anne also works as a weaver and has participated in Watarru collaborative artworks, some of which are at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
