Artwork Description

Canvas on board

Signed on the front.

This artwork comes with an external frame

I love painting water in all its variation with reflected light, shadows and movement. This subject reminds me of family holidays at Minnie Water, where the fishing boats launch in the lagoon and the pelicans wait for a tasty treat. , I wanted to focus on the foreground water with its ripples and reflections. The painting measures 41 cm x 51 cm and is varnished and framed as in photo, ready to hang. The frame measures 53 cm x 63 cm.

Pandanus palm with sunlit leaves and curving branches, reaching out over the curling waves in the aqua ocean below.Light behind the top of a breaking wave with foam trails in the water below, and a distant view of the Lover's Point Headland at Yamba. It is a moody overcast day and a woman in a blue dress is enjoying the feel of the shallow water around her ankles as she paddles in the small waves near the shore. Behind her is a rocky platform with a hint of green seaweed along the top of the rocks. This painting depicts a flowing waterfall cascading down the leafy rocks in Lamington National Park. There is a cool feeling in the shadows and the light catches on the top of the waterfall and in the ripples below.
