Painted with oils and palette knife this artwork was inspired by memories of climbing the Poinciana tree in our back yard as a child. We used to see how high we could climb up into the canopy of brilliant red/orange blossoms dappled with a bright blue sky peeking through the foliage. It always reminds me of Summer in the Tropics.
