Parrots have always fascinated me. I love their ability to look you in the eye as though they want to tell you something. They hop along railings or step carefully along the ground with their knarly claws looking a little like humans trying to walk with big flippers on :) I love the blush colours of the Major Mitchells. I have given this one a little more pink and switched her up to my own interpretation . The original artwork was created with palette knives and brushes to give it texture.
