Historic Richmond Bridge

1825 this bridge was built,
Its lines and arches impressive.
It rests in a tranquil countryside,
And made Richmond town progressive

When I painted this historic spot,
I could hear the children play.
I could feel the sun on my skin,
And the cool breeze at the end of the day.

The sky reflects its colbot blue,
Over gently flowing waters.
And the reeds stand straight and tall,
On the edge of the river's boarders

The town has kept its old world charm,
With friendly smiling people.
The beautiful historic homes and shops
And the churches with there steeples
