This is where artworks appear immediately after they have been uploaded to bluethumb – in other words, the very newest of the new! Checking this page regularly is a great idea if you’ve been waiting for something special, and feel like you’ve combed every other corner of the site. Following what’s been recently uploaded also maximises your chances of grabbing that piece when it comes up. After all, it’s not unheard of for artists to sell their work the morning they list it on the site, so sometimes it pays to be quick!
Make sure to keep an eye on bluethumb’s newest art to discover that perfect piece, just waiting to be hung on your wall and turn your house into a home.
Scratchboard Art is like drawing with a knife. The board consists of a base layer of Masonite covered by a layer of white clay, then topped with a final layer of black ink. Sharp knives such as an "x-acto" are used to scrape away the black ink to reveal the white clay underneath.
