This work was inspired by the feeling of the fragility of nature, in particular the warm sunlight on a butterfly and how delicate the natural balance has to be.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

This work is on 225 GSM acid-free archival paper. The work is sold FRAMED. The frame is 94cm × 64cm x 3.5 cm (framed).

This work was created in July 2017.

In my paintings, I use finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.
