My work is sometimes multi- perspective. The inspiration for this painting was a plane trip that I recently made to Brisbane for a funeral of my friend - the infamous Jack Karlson. I began to think about the merging of earth and the universe and how we are just a speck in the sky. The whole scheme of things became clear to me as to how inconsequential we all are - except to those we love and who love us.
