Artwork Description

Mixed Media on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

The inspiration for this piece is from my many trips to the far east. Places like Laos, Thailand, Bali, Singapore and Malaysia. Water is a constant threat to flooding and the rains are so heavy at times bursting through any preventative barriers! I spent my very young life (age 5) in Thailand, I remember one of such 'flooding's' and even saw (to my astonishment) a huge fish flapping on the submerged lawn! This piece shows the might of nature and that sometimes we are powerless to control her!
