This art work came from the remains of a site model I had to build for an architectural university project. This site model was of a mountain in Roleystone, Western Australia. After looking at the remains of the laser cutting I couldn't bear to throw it away, the wood was too beautiful. After a bit of thinking it only seemed fitting to turn it into a landscape of the mountains. The reinvention of these elements from 3D to 2D is what I found the most exciting when making the landscape collage.
