This IMAGE Goes So Far BEYOND HOW TO REGARD The CONCEPT Of "A Horse Of A Different Colour".

The Bundle of Sticks
An old man on the point of death summoned his sons around him to give them some parting advice. He ordered his servants to bring in a faggot of sticks, and said to his eldest son, "Break it." The son strained and strained, but with all his efforts was unable to break the bundle. The other sons also tried, but none of them was successful. "Untie the faggots," said the father, "and each of you take a stick." When they had done so, he called out to them, "Now, break," and each stick was easily broken. "You see my meaning," said their father.
Moral: Union gives strength.

There are a few points to make about this:
1. How you choose to live your life determines what will be useful to you. If you swear off reading, then being able to read does you no good. If you dedicate yourself to scholarship, then reading is invaluable. Calculus was derived for solving physics problems by Newton (Leibniz had his own reasons presumably). So, anyone who's interested in physics naturally needs to make use of calculus. This includes anyone who wants to actually derive something to use in practice; engineers either have to be spoonfed or understand the science themselves, but either way someone has to understand it.

2. The world is full of hidden knowledge, and you almost never need to know these secrets in order to make use of already available tools and services. However, the fact is we all rely on many different fields of science & mathematics just to do our daily routine. Using an electronic device to ask this question required centuries of mathematical development, the study of materials originating with alchemy and ultimately becoming the science of chemistry, classical physics and quantum physics, etc. Your clothing was most likely made in a factory somewhere by machinery which relies on lots of math and science to design and build. So, it's really up to you to determine how many secrets you want to know, but until you know them, you don't really understand how they will change your life.

3. People often use the phrase "real life" to refer to tedium. Wake up, wash yourself, stuff food in your mouth, execute repetitive tasks until time to eat again, expel waste, execute more repetitive tasks, eat again, go to sleep, and repeat. But they fail to realize that plenty of real people refuse to accept pure, uninterrupted drudgery and instead look for ways to improve their condition: Art and science. - Gary Hollis, works at University of South Carolina ( 11 Dec 2014)

- Eugene Insall Jr, I'm a mathematician and I've taught calculus before. (11 Oct 2015)... (Gleaned Online)
In Chemistry, chemical engineering, etc, ``pressure at a point'' is a limit concept, because one must compute average pressure (force per unit area) over shrinking (to zero diameter) regions of space about the point in question. In Ecology, the notion of ``sustainable population'' is a limit concept, because one extrapolates, often by taking a limit over all time, thereby placing an upper bound on some population that can be sustained by a given ecosystem. In thermodynamics, properties holding at equilibrium are limit concepts, because the fundamental notions in thermodynamics assume that at the microscopic level, particles move all the time, so that for macroscopic equilibrium to be reached, one must wait an indefinite period of time to see that the given thermodynamic quantities have settled into values that are no longer changing over time. The main tool to study this in ``classroom thermodynamics'' is to compute the limits of the macroscopic thermodynamic quantities ``as time goes to infinity''.

Now, if you look up those subjects, then you will find that limits are calculated frequently, or values of quantities (velocities, fluxes, margins, etc) derived from computations of limits are calculated frequently. These subjects are used to train the ``gut instincts'' of engineers and scientists, so that they can be better expert decision makers than Joe who just hunted every year for the past twenty years and avoided learning how to calculate.

"In my opinion, lifetime should be no less than 5 years to be economically interesting. Regarding the fluxes there are strong variation depending not only in the membrane itself but also in the feed and working conditions (fouling is a key parameter leading to strong flux decline)." - Jose Ignacio Calvo Universidad de Valladolid ("2 Years Ago")

This Image Makes me THINK of Parallel "Mindsets" (Glowing Neon Purple Splotches) in a BioDynamic Field (Environment). Why is this IMPORTANT? Because, even though these "Mindsets" may be "Adjacent", They don't necessarily have Anything In COMMON. Aside from Basic Human NEEDS and DESIRES, HOPES and FEARS. Sometimes COMMON CORE VALUES.

HOW WE as Individuals PROCESS Information... HOW WE DETERMINE What IS, and IS Not... CAN BE Very, Very Different... As VIEWED Through the Perceptual FILTER of Each Individual "Mindset".

The Thing IS... When WE FOCUS on What Makes US "DIFFERENT"... Those INTRINSIC "DIFFERENCES" are generally VIEWED as a Negative "VALUE". To BE Avoided, and Discouraged. Sometimes Feared and Hated.

Which is IRONIC to Me... Since I KNOW, that the BEST "Stews", that are HEALTHIEST... Have the Most DIVERSE Range Of Ingredients, ARE The MOST DELICIOUS, and FULFILLING. Whereas "Stews" with a Limited Number of Ingredients... are generally Bland to the Palette, Visually Boring and only have a Limited NUTRITIONAL VALUE At BEST.

Anyone that TRIES to EXIST upon a Limited Variety of "FOODSTUFFS"... runs the Risk of Developing Diseases and Maladies CAUSED By Long-Term Malnutrition. Our Physical Bodies REQUIRE A WELL-BALANCED Diet. IF WE Don't Have That... the Lack of Vitamins, Minerals and Trace Elements can "Cloud" Our Judgement, Muddle Our THINKING, Interfere With Our THOUGHT PROCESSES.

Even So... Just AS WE MUST FEED Our Bodies WELL... WE MUST ALSO FEED Our MINDS and SPIRITS Too!!! "FOODS" FOR "THOUGHT" and "FOODS" FOR "SPIRIT"... ARE JUST AS NECESSARY TO OUR HEALTH AND OVERALL WELL-BEING. AS INDIVIDUAL HUMAN BEINGS... AND COLLECTIVELY, AS A THRIVING SPECIES. Instead of an "Endangered Species"... In Peril Due to the Toxic and ESSENTIALLY Destructive "Mindsets" WE Too Often Adhere To, Much Too Rigidly for the Most Part.

When WE Insist Upon, Calculate With and Dogmatically Enforce Limitations... Regardless of Circumstances. WE Also Limit Our CAPABILITY To DISCOVER, To INNOVATE, To SPONTANEOUSLY CREATE NEW WAYS OF PERCEIVING, THINKING, DOING, and LIVING TOGETHER IN RELATIVE HARMONY. WITH DIGNITY, MUTUAL RESPECT AND COMPASSION.
