Artwork Description

Let me introduce myself. I'm Belinda Nadwie

My usual artists profile is following but I wanted to add that this is a stunning piece, all original and huge! If you are looking for a really large painting this is one to take your breath away. The layers of colour and work involved is phenomenal. I added a few close ups to try to show the texture and layers. It will not disappoint and neither will the price. If you live in Sydney you are welcome to pick it up and save $300, just have to tell Bluethumb.

When I'm not covered in paint, I'm busy being a mother to my three children, Summer, (6), Alice (4) and George (2). With my doting husband our lives are a ball of FUN (and mess)!
But how great is L A U G H T E R ? Truly the best medicine, especially when it involves tickly bits!

I drink multiple cups of tea a day,
I also love C O F F E E, although I restrict myself to ONE a day ☹ (okay sometimes I sneak two)
My family is amazingly supportive and always here at a moments notice.

WHAT BRINGS ME HERE, YOU ASK?

MY A R T ☺

I am taking myself seriously as strangely, I seem to have more time to do so these days.

Ever since I was little (5 years old) I have sold my paintings. It began on Sorrento Beach on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula where I grew up. I used to paint scenes on shells and walk up and down the beach selling them to unsuspecting tourists.
As an adult, I have now sold hundreds of original paintings globally by commissioning pieces for collectors or working with Interior Designers, via word of mouth from happy customers and also via the internet.

Currently United Interiors are showcasing a Limited Edition print series of some select works. Here is a link to their website where you will spot some of my paintings https://www.united-interiors.com.au

If you keep watch, there will be many more paintings to come as this is what I do on a daily basis, whilst raising my darling family.

From my new series, Native Bush. This series has been influenced by my surroundings here in the District Hills, Sydney.A piece from my collection which connects me to this wonderful land we call home with the deepest respect to the traditional custodians. This huge painting is made with beautiful textured layers of oil paint and drips of acrylic. It represents a waterfall and the turquoise and tan colours are dancing across the canvas with the white to create that feeling of movement. Made with love X Respect!
