Storms Teich is just north of Hamburg, Germany, where i was born. I spent early teenage years roaming the forests around here with my friends. No particular reason. No intent. ,No plan or "objective". Just roaming around, free as a bird, dreaming and imagining the wider world beyond this magical but sadly remote landscape.
Somehow we seemed to always end up here, a shallow pondage ringed by birch trees and brought alive by the croaking sound of male frogs marking their territory while the females listened in silence.
Not that we knew any of that at the time, of course, or cared about.
