This is the last in the series of images I have taken in The Pines Forest which is part of the Barrington Tops National Park in New South Wales. The entrance to an ancient life in which this image reflects the ethereal beauty and presence that such an old forest demands when stepping into its environment and surrounds. Time marches slowly by while the trees stand like sentinels watching over all that grows within. For me it is a place of wonder and magic, this forest is a living time capsule waiting to be discovered by those who move through the landscape.
