Photograph on paper
Signed and numbered on the back.
The hidden silent heart of an ancient life watching as time marches slowly on, the forest trees standing like sentinels guarding those within its circle. This is the second image I took in a series of 6 in recreating the vitality of this amazing pine forest in Barrington Tops National Park in NSW. I feel the forest literally growing as I stand in the middle and look up. It almost appears as if the forest touches the blue of the sky above. Taken with a pin hole camera and printed on cotton rag paper, an old world process for an ancient land.
