As she poured these soft, beautiful beachy colours of liquid acrylic onto the canvas, she saw reefs and atolls developing, reminding her of Shark Bay along the Coral Coast of Western Australia. She developed this idea, by the way she tilted and swirled the colours on the canvas. There is beautiful patterning throughout the painting, which would look great in a holiday or coastal home or anyone wanting to dream of the ocean. The paint was allowed to flow down the sides of the canvas, to cover and create further decorative effect. This small painting would be ideal where a larger painting could not be hung or in a group setting.
