In Australia, if a dead tree is painted blue it is a symbol of hope for those suffering and battling mental health issues. Here, I've created a surreal and stunning landscape using liquid acrylic and hand painted trees to great effect in honour of this concept. The liquid acrylic dried with wonderful texture and patterning throughout with metallics used to reflect the iron oxides that give the earth its rich, red colour.
