Her daily walks along her local beach provides much inspiration for her work as she tries to capture the mercurial nature of the Indian Ocean, as it reflects the time of day and seasons of the year, which often dictates her colour palette. The soft colours are soothing and mesmerising, with wispy white abstract patterning painted on top to mimic light dancing and reflecting off the water. This painting would look wonderful in a coastal home and has a calming effect on the viewer. The paint has flowed down the sides of the canvas, eliminating the need for framing.
