This work has been developed from some drawings done on a trip down to Venus Bay, Victoria in early winter. The landscape reduces down to a simple stark palette that has a soft stark mood. The trees silhouetted in the distance are the only players on the stage. Worked on two equal sized panels in oil with cold wax, focussing on soft edges and limited palette to complete the feel of distance. I can prepare ready to hang (wires on the back, finished sides) however I think the work would suit framing.
