A recent walk down to my local waterfall (Curtis Falls) on Tamborine Mountain had me falling in love with the local rainforest once again and I rushed back to my studio to paint this while fresh in my mind. I love the subtle greys the rocks and tree trunks covered in lichen and moss. I also notice the reflected glow from the undergrowth shining on the sides of the trees and rocks. I came back to the studio completely energised fom my emersion in the magical forest.

Rich vibrant fluoro colours excite me to paint these popular bold flowers! Velvety green moss covered rocks in a fantasy secret world of rainforest.Velvety myriad of green mossy boulders lining transparent water of rainforest rockpool. Wild and loose watercolur, soft and flowy Australian Native flowers.
